Everyone on our team loves the great outdoors—whether it’s mountain biking, canoeing, snowboarding or just hiking through unspoilt countryside. That doesn’t mean we are new age tree huggers or born again hippies! We just have an awareness that there’s a life outside work, a world outside the office, and that the things we do should not have a long lasting impact on the planet.
We aim to take care in everything we design, specify and do, to reduce the environmental impact. We’re always looking to recyle removed materials, such as plasterboard, carpet tiles, glass or timber. When putting in new materials we can advise on BREEAM and LEED ratings, low VOC emitting products, FSC certified timbers, energy efficiency, carbon offsetting, promoting recycling, maximising natural daylight, installing bike racks and showers, and lots of other ways you can reduce the impact of your project on the environment. We’re not standing still either—we’re constantly trying to improve the benchmark and get greener.
We don’t want to create The Great Indoors at the expense of The Great Outdoors!
